Pavel Nedved's agent met with Claudio Lottio last night with a view to a move back to Lazio.

The 36-year old left Juventus at the end of the season and his future is yet to be decided.

It was originally thought that Nedved would be hanging up his boots completely but his agent has always believed his client would carry on.

Lotitio met with Mino Raiola at a restuarant in Milan and confirmed Lazio's interest in the player.

“It's true, I saw Lotito. We will need to wait 10 or 15 days. Pavel is on holiday. He is resting. We will decide when he returns,” Raiola said.

New Lazio Coach Davide Ballardini is said to have approved of any move for the former Czech Republic international.

Neved moved to Serie A in 1996 when Lazio signed him from Sparta Prague.
