Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik has repeated his desire to stay at Napoli despite being linked with a move away.

The 21-year old Slovakian has been linked with a move to Juventus.

However Hamsik is happy about how Napoli are going about building a competitive squad for next season.

Luca Cigarini and Fabio Quagliarella have already moved to Napoli this summer. Many others are being linked including Lazio's Goran Pandev.

“The club has confirmed in recent weeks that it wants to do serious things, improving the team with ambitious acquisitions,” Hamsik said.

“I have a contract, which I intend to respect. I want to grow together with the club. The historic group will stay here.

“The desire to keep our strongest players and invest in people like Quagliarella shows the will to create a great team,” he concluded.
